Philip Gulley, a Quaker pastor, speaker, and author to share stories, “folk theology” and his special brand of humor. “No one raises provocative questions about Christianity more kindly than Philip Gulley.” —Diana Butler Bass
Gulley’s 22nd book, entitled Unlearning God: How Unbelieving Helped Me Believe explores the process of spiritual growth, especially the re-interpretation of the earliest principles we learned about God. An eclectic writer, he has published the acclaimed Harmony series as well as his memoir, I Love You, Miss Huddleston: And Other Inappropriate Longings of My Indiana Childhood.
“The tales Philip Gulley unveils are tender and humorous…filled with sudden, unexpected, lump-in-the-throat poignancy.” -Paul Harvey
